Jessica Works Photography provides seniors with bright, natural-looking portraits focused on WHO you are at this time in your life. I'm all about showing the best of who you are. No making you look like someone else. I want to capture your style and personality all while giving you an amazing, fun experience from the time you book all the way through the delivery of your totally finished gallery.

Editing & Retouching
Natural edits that look like you!No funky colors, weird presets, or fad editing styles. I stick to bright, bold, and natural. I have put in HOURS of education and practice to nail that retouching sweet spot. I do not airbrush out every detail. You will see freckles, pores, and hairs. What I try to do is remove anything that is temporary and make you look just like you have absolutely flawless skin and perfect makeup.

You don't have to decide between two looks or be nervous about a smudge. The Luxe session option allows me to bring along our makeup artist to change up styles (and touch up if needed) in between outfits to give you a wider variety of looks in your final gallery. Start with some elegant, loose waves and finish up with something super cute and casual, like a top-knot or messy bun or braid!

I'll be right by your side while planning your session, reassure you when you're nervous about posing, go gaga over the resulting images as they're happening (I honestly can't help it), and be the total goof you need to make you laugh for real.
And when it's time to flip through those final images, I'll be excited right there with you.

FAQs
I'm worried I won't look like me
This is my #1 asked question and biggest worry, for my seniors AND moms. When it comes to makeup and retouching, we will NEVER make our seniors look overdone or fake.

What in the world do I wear?
All of my seniors get a lot of session prep material, including a fashion consult and personalized advice based on your skin tone and body shape.
I've got you covered!
Do I have to order products?
The all-inclusive LUXE SESSION does include an optional in-person live design ordering session where you can order any product at a one-day 20% discount, but there's NO pressure to order. (but I do encourage printing your images)

When should I book?
I encourage booking EARLY so you have plenty of time to plan. At least 6 weeks in advance is best.

Do you shoot boy sessions?
I sure do! While boys don't like to have full-blown sessions with multiple outfits QUITE as often as girls do, I do have a boy session now and then. Though I won't make you wear makeup, I do help with outfits (and no judgement if you DO want to be styled)
